Game Design
The board game is based on Francisco de Orellana’s exploration of the Amazon in the 16th century. The board is a map of the Amazon River printed on canvas to mimic the authenticity of an old treasure map. A deck of over one-hundred cards designed with true/false and multiple choice answers contain information about the Amazon rain forest to help players deepen their understanding of this part of the world as they travel through the Amazon.
