The concept for the brand essence of Illuminate Soy Candles was inspired by the Scarabaeidae beetle, which ancient Egyptians believed to be the earthly representation of the sun God, Ra, who carried the light. The scarab image was hand-carved from a linoleum block and transposed into a digital print. Information about the benefits of burning soy candles and the history of Illuminate and the scarab are printed on the box.
